Norwegian Cinnamon Buns (re)visited

Bonjour readers!

For the past two weeks I was on vacation. Not that I was really absent
from this blog, thanks to the miracles of 'scheduled posting'. I was in Norway
enjoying the culture, the food, even warm weather, and taking A-mazing pictures
like the one above. "Should be a postcard"-amazing pictures.

Remember when I made these Norwegian Cinnamon Buns?



Well, I can proudly say that they taste like real Norwegian cinnamon buns
because I've done my research! Again and again.

How about this scrumptious-looking bun I had in Bergen?




In Trondheim I fell in love with the dessert counter.






In case I forgot to mention, I sailed on an ocean liner to Norway,
where I spend most of my days reading cheesy romantic books ...


(she's my namesake after all)

Overindulging in breakfasts like these ...



And enjoying high tea in all it's splendor ...





Maybe even getting a little TT ("too tipsy") on strawberry daiquiris.
Just kidding! Not really.



Sadly I caught a cold on the last day, so I won't be baking very much this week.
Which comes in handy with my fruit-detox (read: post-vacation diet) I'm following.
