Yes. I just learned today what Galentine's Day means. Anyway, I am just so full of love today. My best friend, also my maid-of-honour surprised me with the sweetest breakfast delivery this morning. It included a heart-shaped sweet bread, similar to a brioche with marzipan in the middle. Heart-shaped butter, heart-shaped cheesecake, chocolate-covered strawberries, love-tea and a homemade jam! That made my whole day.

After a sweet, sweet breakfast, you'd think I had enough sweet for the day?! Think again. I'm Paris Loves Pastry, and I love... well... pastries! I picked up a Valentine's Day cake for my valentine. It's a vanilla cake with Nutella and strawberries in the middle. I'm saving it for dessert.

At lunch I made myself Nutella banana quesadillas. I love cooking with leftovers, and I had some tortillas laying around. I normally don't eat this much Nutella. In fact, I always buy a very small jar, and can't quite finish it by myself. But today is the day for Nutella I guess. And bananas. So here's the recipe. It's fabulous!

Banana Nutella Quesadillas: Inside Bru Crew Life

Ingredients: serves 2
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 large tortillas
- 2 bananas
- 1/4 cup Nutella
- Butter for frying

Instructions:
- Heat butter a large skillet on medium heat.
- Butter one side of the tortillas and sprinkle them with cinnamon sugar.
- Spread Nutella on the other side of the tortillas and place banana slices on half.
- Fold the tortillas in half and place in the warm skillet. Fry each side until golden brown.


So this is the fabulous cake I got for Valentine's Day from Piece of Cake in Maastricht, The Netherlands.




I can't wait to eat it!!! Gotta control myself for a few more hours until my Valentine comes home.
