Alice in Wonderland at Ladurée

Yes it's true ...
Ladurée has collaborated with Tim Burton's
Alice in Wonderland!

And I happend to be in Paris to celebrate the occassion!
*Yay!*

Le Printemps (think department store à la Saks) has openend
a special Ladurée section just for the film.

It is located right between the escalators of the store.

So you must be prepared for people staring at you
while you're eating your Ladurée pastries.

Stepping in Alice's Tea Party, I noticed the checkerboard & grass carpet
to accentuate the theme. Clever!

You are seated by your French waiter at the very long table.
(Just like in the movie!)

The centerpieces are a feast for your eyes!

Hmmmmm ... what to order ?

I simply couldn't decide, so I asked the waiter to
bring me that stunning creation on the counter.

The pink one, on the right.

Yes, that's the one ...

L'Entremet Marie-Antoinette (€14,80).

Le front.

Le back.

Le center.

Along with the Marie-Antoinette tea (€6,80).

Ma compagne ordered a Millefeuille au vieux Rhum brun (€6,50)
& a café noisette (hazelnut coffee - €3,50).

Le Printemps' ever-changing window displays
are also decorated with Alice in Wonderland.

And Ladurée sells special 'Alice' boxes filled with macarons.

All in all, it was a very memorable tea party!
Definitely worth a visit!

Love,
