New Baking Books

My new Bibles have arrived!!! I've been waiting so impatiently for these babies. I ordered Martha Stewart's 'Baking Handbook', I think this book is as a necessity as all-purpose flour for baking, and Pierre Herme's 'Desserts', of course being dubbed 'Paris Pastry' I have to have at least one book by this Parisian pastry chef. My dad also gave me a few cookbooks that he never uses, one of them Williams-Sonoma 'Pies & Tarts', which comes in very handy because I've been longing to bake a pie. God I can't wait to start baking!

Martha smiles at me with a Old-Fashioned Berry Layer Cake.

"perhaps I will buy his book soon" I said when making his Mille Feuille Crêpes Cake.

*drool drool*

Hey, my Autumn Meringue Cake I made a month ago! Damn that cake was good!

Getting baking "bibles" in the mail is FUN! Ugh it's been too long since I've made a pie, and that book really makes me wanna bake one!
